After 23 years in the medical field, I decided it was time for a career change.

I’ve always had a love for animals. As a child, I’d bring home all kinds of animals to keep as pets. As an adult, I loved the time I spent volunteering at the San Francisco SPCA, working with rescue dogs.

I have a sixth sense with animals and can really read a dog’s body language well. The next step to me was natural: create my own pet sitting business on the coast.

My fledgling business grew to provide all manner of care (see Services) for myriad beasties. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, the Better Business Bureau and Professional Pet dog trainers.

I continue to grow as a pet care professional by taking classes and workshops with pet-world luminaries such as Cesar Milan, and enjoy passing my knowledge and skills along to clients as well as staff at Kamp K-9 .

Since Klaws, Paws and Hooves grew out of my love of animals, it’ll come as no surprise that I have four dogs of my own, who form the core of the KPH pack:

Max my rescue Boxer , Wrigley my Golden from rescue , Gatsby and Ru Ru both frenchies
